APi Group's 2016 Leadership Summit Awards: Mike Gifford

At this year's 2016 Leadership Summit, several companies and employees were presented with APi Group's annual Leadership Summit awards, recognizing great achievements from across our family of companies.

Congratulations to all companies and employees, especially our very own Mike Gifford, Vice President of VFP Fire Systems, for receiving the Community Service Award! This is one of two new awards created by the Talent Magnet Think Tank. This award honors an individual who truly embodies what it means to live life with a cause greater than oneself every moment of every day.

Mike Gifford, the inaugural winner of this award, has given back to the community in too many ways to count, but most notably:

• Founding and running the nationwide charitable organization, Living With A Cause (LWAC), an organization of unified people throughout the U.S. that care about the well-being and future of our country, families, and preserving the legacy of those who have defended, supported and built this great nation.   • Cystic Fibrosis
  • The American Red Cross
  • Cancer Research
  • Operation Christmas Child
  • The Salvation Army
  • Autism Awareness
